HathiTrust Digital Library is a consortium of universities that have released a shared digitized collection of books. The catalog allows a search of the synopsis or full text of books. A look into the public collections is also allowed. Both fiction and non-fiction books are included.
GovTrack.us is another way besides the THOMAS website to find out the status of a bill or resolution. You can search by subject, keyword, or the number of the bill. Once a bill is brought up, a simple explanation is given as to the status of the bill and what it means. Members of Congress and their voting records can be found on the site. You can also sign up using e-mail updates or rss feeds as to the latest legislative activity.
