The Cancer Statistics Center from the American Cancer Society provides a one stop source on statistics for all kinds of cancer. The number of new cancer cases per year, along with number of deaths is listed, as well as the numbers per state. Map statistics, as well as trends are shown. Cancer screening and risk factors are also covered. Many of the statistics are from the source, “Cancer Facts & Figures“, which is available from the American Cancer Society.
The GEDEasy.com database includes over 25,000 locations nationwide that provide GED preparation and testing. Students can simply put the name of the city in the search form at http://gedeasy.com/ged-classes/ and the GEDEasy website will provide a list of locations that offer GED classes in that area. The search box is towards the middle center of the webpage, about a quarter of the way down. Testing sites for the GED are also listing further down the webpage, in the results page, below the GED classes list. All listings are shown by zip code.
